Health Care in Sicily Region is managed by the Regional Ministry of Health (Assessorato alla Salute) with an allocated yearly budget of € 10,000 millions.
Health activities in the territory are managed by Provincial Public Health Authorities including ASP Ragusa (€ 500 millions) which covers the catchment area of the Province of Ragusa.

ALDA NET

ALDA – European Association for Local Democracy, is a French-registered association dedicated to the promotion of good governance and citizen participation at the local level in the European Union and its Neighborhood.  ALDA is a wide, consolidated network, counting over 350 members* , including ASP Ragusa, from 45 countries, 15 Local Democracy Agencies* (LDAs) and 3 Operational Partners (OPs). 

Tehdas

ASP Ragusa is an accredited Stakeholders in TEHDAS. TEHDAS Joint Action project develops European principles for the use of health data and infrastructure planning.
The TEHDAS Joint Action is based on the European Commission’s Health Programme 2020. The Finnish Innovation Fund, Sitra coordinates the joint project carried out by 25 countries. The project started in February 2021..

Federsanità

Federsanità associates the strategic directions of the health and hospital companies and the Municipalities that adhere to the regional Anci.

The regional Anci Federsanità is a network on the Italian territory that puts general directors, including ASP Ragusa, and mayors in daily dialogue.

OIM

Established in 1951, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) is the main intergovernmental organization in the field of migration. Italy is one of the founding countries. Currently there are 173 Member States. The IOM has a flexible structure and has over 460 offices located in more than 100 countries. Since September 2016, IOM has entered the UN system, becoming the United Nations Migration Agency. The IOM Headquarters is in Geneva.

Istituto Superiore di Sanità

At the Italian National Institute of Health (ISS), the main center for research, control and technical-scientific advice on public health in Italy, 2300 people, including researchers, technicians and administrative staff, work daily with the aim of protecting the citizens’ health. The main activities of the ISS are distributed in 6 Departments, 16 National Centers, 2 Reference Centers, 5 Technical-scientific services and a Notified Body for the assessment of the suitability of medical devices..

DELEO FUND

De Leo Fund is a non-profit organization founded in 2007 by Cristina and Diego De Leo with Federica Zoppellaro and Arianna Caldon and a group of friends and volunteers (doctors, psychologists and other “survivors”). Its aim is to provide help and assistance to all those people who have suffered a sudden and violent loss as in case of a traffic accident, work-related accident, suicide, homicide, and natural disaster or due to human error.

ORDINE DEI MEDICI PALERMO
